System Studies

System performance evaluations have been made for the safety systems listed below. Each evaluation was based on reactor operating experience contained in EPIX data. Earlier evaluations were primarily LER based. Two evaluations have been made. The first is for failure to start (FTS). The second is for failure to start and run for 8 hours (FTR). Trends for the FTS model and FTR model are presented as well as plant-specific results when plant variability was observed.
